Ultrasounds are performed onsite at both our New Castle and Slippery Rock offices.
A client must have a positive pregnancy test and be free of pain and vaginal bleeding to be referred for an ultrasound. All cases are evaluated by one of Alpha Omega Center’s medical professionals before doing an ultrasound.
Alpha Omega Center’s practice is to begin with an abdominal ultrasound followed by a vaginal ultrasound if the mother is in her first trimester. Many of our clients are very early in pregnancy and require the vaginal ultrasound. If the nurse observes anything that is unexpected, the client is referred immediately to her doctor or to the emergency room. Alpha Omega Center does not provide ultrasounds for any reason other than pregnancy confirmation and dating.
Alpha Omega Center does not perform or refer for abortion.
